TAKEN is a revolutionary digital marketplace for emerging designers. As a first of it’s kind destination for up-and-coming talent, TAKEN allows customers to shop local, support small businesses and do good while also offering a wide variety of styles and looks to help shoppers update their wardrobe.

With a young edgy audience, the TAKEN website needed to evoke a sense of cool, while also making the shopping experience fun yet seamless. The unique labels carried by the brand are effortlessly chic, each capturing a sense of freedom and excitement that we wanted to bring to the website design and branded collateral.

Our job was to ensure this youthful spirit carried through every step of the customer journey. We advised on the page structure and layout, designed the signature TAKEN aesthetic and built a fully fledged online marketplace complete with a carefully curated sales engine for the brand.

To introduce TAKEN to the world, we crafted a comprehensive social media launch strategy for the brand. From a complete 1-month suite of branded assets, imagery and social media captions to strategic consultation about influencer and blogger partnerships, online community building and live video direction, we developed a cohesive launch strategy to establish the brand as a leader in the market.
